Account Verification
Understanding account verification and what to do if your account is locked.
To protect your account from unauthorized access, our security system monitors login activity and may require identity verification.
When Is Verification Required?
- New device or location — If you log in from a new device or an unusual location, you'll be redirected to verify your identity.
- Security check — Periodic verification to ensure only you are accessing the account.
How to Verify
If you have a passkey set up, simply use your biometric (fingerprint or face) when prompted. The verification is quick — just a 2-second tap. If you haven't set up a passkey yet, you'll be guided through the passkey setup process first.
Account Locked?
If your account becomes locked, you'll see a prominent notice on your My Account page. A locked account prevents access to courses and quizzes. Please contact our support team for assistance with unlocking your account.
Emergency Login Kit
You can set up an Emergency Login Kit from the My Account page. This provides a backup way to access your account if you lose access to your passkey device.
